First for First Aid Training in Sussex

McCrudden Training is pleased to announce the successful achievement of centre approval with national industry body FAIB (First Aid Industry Body).

FAIB is an independent organisation solely dedicated to ensuring the highest possible standards of training across the first aid industry. They inspect and monitor all the processes of training providers and McCrudden Training is pleased to be one of only 30 centres approved by FAIB to deliver the entire suite of workplace First Aid courses across East and West Sussex, Kent and Surrey.

“When the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) removed approval of First Aid Training providers, employers effectively became responsible for conducting formal due diligence to check the compliance and quality of any provider they worked with.  Either that or pay additional costs to an awarding body” explains McCrudden Training’s MD, Nicky McCrudden. She adds “We wanted to avoid having to pass on extra costs to our clients, so we made a ‘due diligence’ pack available to any client who wished to see it, but now that FAIB accreditation is available, we’re able to evidence the high quality of our training and give clients peace of mind without charging an extra fee for certificates.”

The accreditation applies to all first aid courses:

for both in-house training across Sussex and our open course programme of First Aid training currently running in Eastbourne, for the next five years.  During that time we will be required to demonstrate the highest standards in all aspects of our business and will be subject to independent monitoring and evaluation on a regular basis.
