A number of carers were interested in being the boards Chairperson – but none had done anything like it before and several were apprehensive about the role. McCrudden Training was brought in provide a short workshop in chairing skills and improve their confidence. Care for the Carers are now running a very successful group, with confident carers as chair and vice-chair.
