The Gatwick Diamond Pastry Club Launches

Coffee, conversation and connection for L&D and HR professionals.

A free of charge peer support forum for L&D and HR Managers is coming to the Gatwick Diamond area.  The Pastry Club is a chance to:

  • meet and learn from other HR professionals
  • share experiences and ideas
  • access expert speakers
  • solve workforce challenges collectively

McCrudden Training sponsors The Pastry Club, so there is no cost to professionals attending.  We are delighted to welcome Kelly Kyle (Learning and Talent Development Consultant) from the Civil Aviation Authority as our first guest professional.  Kelly will be leading a discussion about the realities of helping a workforce adapt to remote working.

The Pastry Club is a quarterly network exclusively for senior Learning and Development Managers and HR Directors from medium to large businesses to discuss ‘hot topics’ and share best practice, over coffee and pastries.  Each meeting will address both HR and L&D topics, either through a spot light discussion or a facilitated debate on key challenges facing the professions.  Members have the opportunity to introduce initiatives they are working on to share learning and use the collective wisdom to help overcome challenges.

“There is so much networking around but other than a couple of national conferences there is relatively little for HR and L&D professionals whose focus is mainly internal to the business.  I talk to so many different businesses, many of whom are facing similar challenges.  The Pastry Club gives those in charge of the workforce the opportunity to save time by sharing great ideas.”

Nicky McCrudden, MD of McCrudden Training.

The Gatwick Diamond Pastry Club is sponsored by McCrudden Training and Sussex Recruitment.  The first event is:

Wednesday 12th December,

10.30-12.30pm

Crown Plaza Hotel, Gatwick.

Anyone interested in attending, should contact hello@mccrudden-training.co.uk to register.  Can’t make this date, but interested in joining the conversations in 2019? No problem, just let us know here.
