We don’t ‘monkey’ around with CSR
We are passionate about making a difference, not just to our clients and learners, but to the wider community (including the global community). And we’ve found an ingenious (even if we do say so ourselves) way to combine our social media marketing and support for our chosen charity, International Animal Rescue, with our new social media competition for learners.
“We were looking for a novel way to gain reviews on Google My Business, and increase our Twitter traffic, and we hit upon the idea of using it as a competition that could also raise money for our nominated charity, International Animal Rescue (IAR)” explains MD Nicky McCrudden.
“IAR are a Sussex-based charity that are really aligned with our passions. Aside from my own passionate belief in protecting endangered animals, IAR teach skills to people in developing countries so that they can earn a living without abusing animals, and they have a training academy for orphaned orangutans; so they can learn how to live in the wild” explains Nicky.
From September 2018 onwards all learners on a McCrudden Training workshop are being invited to Tweet us about their learning ‘light bulb moments’ or leave a Google review including the hashtag #greatfunlearning. Each quarter we’ll will draw one post, at random to win a Funky Fudge Hamper (try saying that three times, quickly). For every Tweet or review we’ll make a donation to IAR (terms and conditions apply).
