First Aid Training Course
Our First Aid training is delivered in partnership with NHS Hastings and Rother a training organisation approved and monitored by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) to provide First Aid at Work training. Through this relationship we are able to offer a trainer to deliver the full range of first aid training, including providing first aid assessors.
Our first aid trainer is a biological science graduate, previously taught physiology / anatomy at degree level and has over a decade of experience as a First Aider. All our first aid courses include a mix of theory and practical first aid training.

what first aid cover do we need?
The level of first aid provision in any work place depends on the workplace. There is no fixed level, but every employer (or voluntary group) should consider:
- the nature of the workplace and types of hazards/risks
- the size of the organisation (including the number of employees)
- the distance from the nearest emergency medical facility
- cover for the absence (sickness or annual leave) of first aid trained staff
- any history of accidents within the organisation
