Safeguarding is a term that describes the work and processes undertaken to minimise and manage the risks involved to vulnerable adults and children.
Organisations working with children and vulnerable adults have a duty to ensure that their staff are trained in safeguarding. This online safeguarding course includes facts, figures and details surrounding the risk to children and vulnerable adults, the types of abuse suffered, how to recognise the signs of abuse and key safeguarding legislations put in place to minimise the abuse.
Our online safeguarding adults and online safeguarding children courses are approved by CPD. We also offer in-house safeguarding training courses.

Who is this course for?
The online safeguarding adults course is aimed at those in roles that work with vulnerable adults, particularly public health related or voluntary sector, for example, care staff, community staff, and voluntary sector. It may help organisation’s response to the Care Act 2014.
The online safeguarding children course is aimed at anyone in roles that work with young people/children (under 18s), for example, school workers, youth club staff, sports staff/coaches. Or those aspiring to work with children and young people.
